About Tripsya

Real travel. Honest advice. No fluff.

What Tripsya Is

Tripsya is a travel blog written by people who actually travel — not influencers staying in comp'd suites, not agencies promoting packages, just people who have spent real money navigating airports, negotiating guesthouses, and figuring out what to eat when nothing has an English menu.

We cover budget travel, solo trips, backpacking routes, destination guides, and the practical stuff that most travel content skips over: what things actually cost in 2026, which gear genuinely holds up, how to handle insurance claims, and when to skip a "must-see" that's more hassle than it's worth.

What We Cover

  • Budget travel strategies and real cost breakdowns
  • Destination guides for Asia, Europe, Latin America, and beyond
  • Solo travel — including solo female travel with honest safety advice
  • Backpacking routes and gear reviews
  • Digital nomad life (the practical parts, not the fantasy)
  • Travel hacking — miles, points, and how they actually work
  • Travel insurance explained without the marketing spin

Our Approach

Travel content has a tendency to present everything as amazing and everyone as helpful. Real travel involves more mess — unexpected closures, bad accommodation decisions, transport delays, and moments where the thing you came specifically to see is surrounded by tour buses.

We try to write what we'd tell a friend planning the same trip. That includes the downsides, the things that didn't work out, and the adjustments we'd make if we went back. We update guides when things change, because prices and conditions from five years ago are genuinely useless for planning travel today.
